Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PetKeep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Developer and Operator

PetKeep is developed and operated by Cai Gege (蔡格格). For questions about these Terms, subscriptions, or support, please contact us via [email protected] or visit our Support page.

3. Not Medical Advice

PetKeep is a tracking and reminder tool only. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your pet's health.

4. Use at Your Own Risk

You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data entered into the App. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developers, owners, and affiliates of PetKeep are not liable for:

• Missed medication doses or incorrect dosages
• Data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or lack of backup
• Any health outcomes or veterinary expenses resulting from use of the App
• Decisions made based on information tracked within the App

This section does not affect any consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor does it affect liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

5. Account and Device

PetKeep does not require user accounts. Your data is tied to the device on which the App is installed. If you use multiple devices, data will not automatically sync between them unless you manually export and re-import records.

6. In-App Purchases

Pro features are unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. All sales are final per Apple's App Store policy. Restore Purchases is available for devices using the same Apple ID.

We do not receive or store your payment information. All billing disputes should be directed to Apple Support.

7. Intellectual Property

PetKeep and all associated content, designs, code, and branding are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without express written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All data is stored locally on your device; we do not operate servers that store your information.

9. Apple Terms and Third-Party Rules

In addition to these Terms, your download, installation, purchase, and use of the App are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms, App Store Guidelines, Apple Standard EULA, and applicable rules for in-app purchases. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with Apple's mandatory rules, Apple's rules and applicable mandatory laws shall prevail.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the App, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service on all devices, system versions, or configurations. We may update features, pricing, subscription tiers, or functionality at any time for reasons including security, stability, legal compliance, or product evolution. For changes that may materially affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or other appropriate channels.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling the App does not cancel any active subscription. To cancel a subscription, you must do so through Apple's subscription management page or the "Manage Subscription" option within the App.

Without a system backup or manual export, uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data, which cannot be recovered by us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The most current version will always be available at petkeep.lockeep.app/terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, please stop using the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles. This does not override any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
